Hello, Reader,
Leo season arrives like the sun on bare skin, radiant, bold, and entirely itself. It says: You were not made to hide in the shade. (Unless you're staying out of the sun, in which case, carry on.)
Leo is the sign of the heart. Of self-expression, creative fire, and most of all, courage.
Not performative bravado, but the kind of courage that rises from within.
Sometimes, courage is choosing joy even when grief is present.
Wearing the thing that feels “too much.”
Beginning again, even when you’re still unsure.
“
There is nothing new under the sun, but there are new suns.
— OCTAVIA BUTLER
Leo season invites you to embody the courage to be a new sun.
The future isn’t fixed.
New light is always possible.
And you, you are allowed to shine differently than before.
Reader, in the hours after the Leo New Moon, I hope you're feeling the warmth of the sun on your back, in your heart, and the unfolding shape of your life.
The Courage to Find Your Way in the World
Leo season invites you to embody that light with courage and authenticity.
To live not from ego, but from the heart.
To shine not to dominate, but to radiate from deep alignment with who you are becoming.
To live authentically without ego: that’s the challenge, and the complexity.
And to know you’re not alone in radiating. Finding your way in the world begins with finding that radiance within.
Andrea Gibson and the Courage to Choose Joy
Poet, activist and Leo Sun Andrea Gibson said, “I am aiming my internal compass toward joy.”
On July 14, Andrea passed away after four years of living with ovarian cancer. They lived like a sun: courageous, creative, luminous with their heart fully engaged.
Choosing joy as a beacon is courage. Not a bypass. A direction.

Circle 1: Inside the Muses Circle
Two days into the Muses Circle, we’re finding our way with courage, not as performance, but as a way of being.
A practice of showing up with heart, even when it’s hard.
A daily act of choosing joy, presence, and creative radiance.
Reader, I’d love to hear what inner compass you’re following these days. I'll be right here.
